red leaves, red mist.

 This work began with a thick oil coat. A few different colours where used that are still apparent. An acrylic layer was applied over the oil. A black marker pen used for the branches. Enamel paint pen for the leaves and a mix of black biro pen and 08 ink pen for the detail. Still WIP at present. Feeling a bit blue of late so the red mist symbolizes being adrift in life, uncertainty, misery, depression or whatever label or term you wish to apply. The leaves represent the attempt to regrow one self. To regain the "light" so to speak and lift the mist.
